How to cook breadsticks with cheese and spinach
The combination of light, crispy dough and cheese gives the sticks an exquisite taste.
First we make the dough as for dumplings. Mix the water and flour, knead the dough until it is elastic.
To make the dough puff and crispy after baking it in the oven, you need to take margarine or lard for lubrication.
Roll out the dough as thinly as possible, lubricate the surface with soft margarine, fold it with an envelope. Repeat 2 times and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, the dough is rolled out several more times into layers, lubricated, folded into an envelope and put in the refrigerator. After rolling out the dough 5 times, the dough is ready to make sticks out of it.
Filling: grate cheese on a coarse grater, mix with chopped spinach, add melted butter 9 (more than 1 tablespoon).
We take the dough out of the refrigerator and quickly roll out a layer with a thickness of 5 mm. Divide into strips 5 cm wide and 10 cm long, lay out the filling, roll the tube on one side and on the other (about the center). A double bread stick will learn.
We put the tubes with the filling in the oven, preheated to 240 degrees. Bake for 10-15 minutes, but without opening the oven door (otherwise the dough will not be crispy layers).
