How to Cook Chicken Nuggets
Kids love fast food. Chicken nuggets always go with a bang! Buying nuggets is not a problem. In fast food outlets or frozen in a store. Quick and easy. The only downside is that the composition of such nuggets, as a rule, leaves much to be desired. I suggest cooking chicken breast nuggets. This is white, dietary chicken meat, which practically does not contain fat, but contains a lot of protein, as well as vitamins and minerals that are necessary for our body, and especially for children. The recipe is very simple. You can buy a breast fillet right away, or cut out a breast from a whole chicken. I prefer butchering chicken. Do not buy too big a chicken, fillets from the average will be quite enough. And a large one may have excess water in the meat, which can have a bad effect on the final result.
If you have a whole chicken, then you need to cut it up. Separate the thighs with a sharp knife. Now carefully cut the breast meat from the rib bones, remove the skin. And it turned out fillet. Cut the fillet horizontally into three parts. Then cut into pieces of about five to seven centimeters. You’ve probably seen what size nuggets are, and we do that.
The breast meat is quite dry, so it is better to marinate it a little before cooking. We put our nuggets in a container or bowl, add mayonnaise, ground black pepper and salt to taste. Stir and leave in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.
In a separate bowl, mix the milk and egg, whisk with a whisk until a small foam forms. It turns out a liezon. In one plate we pour flour, in another plate we pour breadcrumbs.
We take the nuggets out of the refrigerator. We dip each piece of breast in the pie, then in flour on both sides, then again in the pie and then in breadcrumbs on both sides. Practice. Then heat up a large frying pan with vegetable oil and immediately fry the nuggets on both sides for a few minutes.
