How to cook Cottage cheese Easter with candied fruits and poppy seeds
Not far off we have a wonderful holiday — Easter. And what is Easter without the eponymous cottage cheese dish? So let’s talk today about how to cook cottage cheese Easter with candied fruits and poppy seeds.
Step-by-step recipe
1. |
The first thing you and I need to do is squeeze the cottage cheese from excess liquid and grind it in any convenient way (I do it in a blender). |
2. |
Now we divide the cream into two equal parts. We send one of the parts to a water bath to warm it up, but do not let it boil. In the second half, add the egg yolks and whisk, and then combine with the first part of the cream and leave in a water bath for another couple of minutes, until thickened. |
3. |
In the cottage cheese, add butter at room temperature, sugar, vanilla, prepared cream with yolks and beat the resulting mass with a mixer until smooth. Add poppy seeds (it should be soaked in boiling water beforehand) and candied fruits. |
4. |
We cover the Easter mold with wet gauze so that it does not stick to the walls. We spread and compact the curd mass. We put the oppression and put the mold in a cold place, preferably overnight. |
5. |
After the allotted time, we take Easter out of the mold and serve it to the table. Bon appetit to you and your loved ones. |
