How to make a Cupcake with orange peel
Winter is the season of oranges and the time to pamper your loved ones with fragrant and delicious pastries with orange peel. For an evening tea party, we will prepare a lush cupcake with citrus peel. The cupcake is aspic, because when we turn it over, we will get delicious pastries with fragrant orange circles. The aroma of citrus will immediately lift your mood.
Step-by-step recipe
1. |
Wash the orange, peel off the peel on a fine grater. |
2. |
Cut the oranges into thin slices. The juice that has leaked out during slicing can be sent to the dough. |
3. |
Heat water in a saucepan, add sugar. We send oranges to the syrup and boil over moderate heat for half an hour. Oranges will retain their shape, and the peel will become soft. We take them out of the syrup and let them drain. |
4. |
Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes soft. |
5. |
Then use a blender to beat the butter with sugar, adding eggs, kefir and mayonnaise. |
6. |
We send the zest and vanilla to the creamy mass. |
7. |
Sift the flour, mix with baking powder and gradually send it to the dough. Mix well so that there are no lumps. You should get a thick dough, like pancakes. |
8. |
We put the oranges on the bottom of the mold. My shape is rectangular, narrow, and I laid it out in two layers. Pour the dough over the oranges. |
9. |
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. |
10. |
Bake for 35-40 minutes. We check the readiness with a wooden stick. |
11. |
We take the cupcake out of the oven, let it cool down. The cooled cupcake is turned over, taken out of the mold and sprinkled with a little sugar. The cupcake with oranges is ready. Bon Appetit!
