How to cook Fish rolls stuffed with vegetables
Baked herring is also very tasty. Baked fish retains a lot of vitamins, trace elements and fatty acids. And herring is in no way inferior in taste to other fish. And if you cook it with vegetables, lemon and garlic, then the taste will be just wonderful. We will cook fish rolls with carrots and onions.
Step-by-step recipe
1. |
Defrost the herring in the refrigerator. We leave it slightly frostbitten and gutted. It will be much more convenient to do it this way. We need to get four fillets for rolls. We remove the skin, remove the head, insides and spine. We pull out all the other bones. If you don’t want to mess around, buy the fillet right away, but the result may be worse. There is usually more icing in the fillet. |
2. |
Mix all our seasonings. Namely: garlic passed through a press, salt, pepper, seasonings for fish, juice of half a lemon and chopped parsley. Rub each fillet with a mixture and leave it in the refrigerator for half an hour. This marinade will successfully discourage unnecessary odor. |
3. |
Preparing the filling. Peel and slice the onion and carrot. Carrots can be grated, or cut into small bars. Literally fry the mixture a little in vegetable oil. Let the onion brown a little. Cool it down. |
4. |
We lay out the herring fillets on polyethylene, put a mixture of onions and carrots on each and wrap it with a roll. You can fix it with a toothpick. Each roll is wrapped in foil. |
5. |
Preheat the oven to 180-200 degrees and put the rolls there for half an hour. Then we take out the herring rolls from the foil and put them on a plate with lemon slices. It can be served with potatoes or rice. Try it with soy sauce. Bon Appetit! |
