For the infusion, we take a set of head, tail and fins. You can take any fillet of fresh fish: trout, silver carp, salmon or walleye.
How to cook Fish soup with new potatoes
In Soviet times, Thursday was a fish day, when fish dishes were always on the menu. In fact, fish is a very useful product. And the dishes from it turn out to be hearty, tasty and fragrant. Let’s have a fish dinner and cook fish soup with new potatoes.
Step-by-step recipe

Rinse the fish set and send it to cook in salted water. Remove the foam with a slotted spoon, reduce the heat after boiling. Add the peeled onion. |

After half an hour, we pull out the onion and fish set, and filter the broth. |

We put the broth back on the fire. |

Wash the fish fillets, remove the bones and cut into medium pieces. |

New potatoes should be well washed with a brush, cut into 4 parts (I do not peel it, since it is young). |

Add potatoes and fillet pieces to the fish broth. |

Cover with a lid and cook for 10-15 minutes. |

Peel the onion and carrot. Cut the carrots into cubes, chop the onion finely. |

We put a frying pan on the fire, pour vegetable oil and fry the onion first until transparent, add carrots, fry until golden brown. |

Add vegetables to the soup. We also throw a mixture of green peas and corn there. Pepper, taste for salt. |
