Tartiflet-what a beautiful and unusual name of the dish! In fact, this is a potato casserole, but what!.. This is a dish of French cuisine, and it consists of baked potatoes with bacon and French reblochon cheese. This is a soft cheese, similar to a buttery, elastic cheese dough with a bright taste, which is mixed with fruit and nutty notes. But this cheese is rarely found in the store, so we will replace it with Camembert or brie. And then there will already be a creamy mushroom taste, but it’s no worse. You can reduce the amount of Camembert by adding processed cheese to the dish. The taste and smell will remain, and the costs will decrease.
Step-by-step recipe

Potatoes should be medium-sized. Rinse, peel and cut into circles, 1 cm thick. Boil the potatoes until tender, drain the water, cool. |

Peel the onion, cut into half rings. Fry in a frying pan with vegetable oil. Cut the bacon into cubes and add it to the onion in the pan. Fry. Then add a glass of dry wine, keep on medium heat for five minutes stirring. |

Prepare four clay or ceramic pots for baking. Divide the boiled potatoes into about four parts and carefully transfer each part to a pot. Put 10 grams of butter on top. |

Mix the milk with sour cream. Cut the camembert and melted cheese into cubes. Grate the emmental. |

In each pot we put onions with bacon on top of potatoes, cubes of Camembert cheese and melted cheese, then pour a mixture of milk and sour cream and sprinkle with grated cheese. If a hundred grams of grated cheese is divided into four pots, then it will turn out quite a bit, literally by a pinch, but that’s enough. We put the pots without lids in the oven preheated to 150 degrees for half an hour. During this time, the potatoes will be baked and soaked in the flavors of bacon, wine and cheese. And the cheese itself will melt and brown. |
