Fried red fish — what could be more beautiful? But even the best dish is boring, so spices and marinades come to the rescue. This time we will give the fish a sweet and sour taste with honey and soy sauce
How to cook Fried salmon in soy-honey sauce
Salmon in soy-honey sauce is an excellent dish, where the bright taste of red fish is complemented by a sweet and sour aroma. For the dish, you can use any kind of salmon. If you don’t want to mess around, it’s better to take the finished fillet.
For the dish you need a fillet, if you didn’t get it in the store, then you’ll have to tinker a little. But we will get excellent ridges, a head and a tesha for a rich broth. First, we separate the head and fins, then cut the halves from the ridge with the rib bones. We remove the remaining bones. Taking the half by the tail part (it is convenient to hold with a fork), we cut the pulp from the skin — the knife should be directed downward, pressing against the cutting board.
It is better to take liquid honey, but if yours has started to get sugared, then a water bath will come to the rescue — a couple of minutes and everything is ready! Do not be afraid of heating honey, we will fry it anyway! Add soy sauce to the honey, squeeze out the juice from the lemon.
We cut the fish into portions and place it in a deep plate. Pour the marinade on top and leave the salmon for 20-30 minutes to be saturated with the aroma in the refrigerator.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and spread the pickled red fish. Fry on one side — make sure that the fish does not fry. Carefully turn the salmon over. On each side, you need to hold the fillet for 4-5 minutes. If you fry in a frying pan, the grilled fish turns out beautiful. When serving, season the fish with salt, pepper, and add herbs.
The ideal side dish for sweet and sour salmon is boiled rice sprinkled with lemon juice. Additionally, we serve fresh vegetables and herbs.
