How to cook Fried squid rings on a skewer
Fried squid rings are a wonderful dish, often used as a snack for a foamy drink. But rings in batter with a lot of fat do not suit many. Therefore, we will cook healthy and very tasty rings on the grill.
Squid can not be cleaned beforehand, and after defrosting, boil a little. Bring the water to a boil. We lower whole squid into boiling water for 30-60 seconds. Quickly take it out and pour cold water over it. The protein film on the surface is folded and easily cleaned off with flakes. Additionally, we wash the sea gifts.
Cut the squid into rings up to 1 cm wide and string them on skewers and marinate. For the marinade, mix soy sauce, olive oil and spices. Pour the marinade over the squid and mix well, leave for 30 minutes (a couple of times during this time you need to stir the squid so that they are evenly marinated).
We put the rings one by one on a skewer and proceed to frying. The remaining tentacles and fins are planted separately — they will go to the tasting as a reward to the chef!
In a frying pan, we heat a small amount of oil and spread the seafood kebabs. It can also be grilled (even better). Fry on each side for a couple of minutes.
We serve hot to the table — this is a great snack and a dietary dish. In terms of calories, it is much inferior to traditional deep-fried rings, so you can treat yourself to them on a diet. Enjoy your meal.
