How to make a homemade cake «Charlotte Royal» with ice cream
No holiday can do without a cake, especially for children. At any celebration in every family, the main dish of the day is necessarily in the middle of the table – a cake. There are a huge number of recipes for cooking this delicacy, but the special delight of children is the cake «Charlotte Royal», inside which ice cream is enclosed.
First, to produce a homemade cake, you need to bake a sponge cake, from which we will make cream rolls. Separate the whites from the yolks. Now they need to be whipped separately in a blender, mixer or whisk. Whisk the whites with salt, and the yolks with sugar until they thicken.
Now pour a portion of butter, milk into the yolk mixture, add a mixture of flour with baking powder and cocoa powder. Beat the resulting mixture with an immersion blender. Then carefully spoon in the whipped protein, slowly, mixing the whole consistency. Spread the sponge dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, level it on the surface.
Bake a biscuit in the oven at a temperature of one hundred and eighty degrees. The biscuit does not bake for long, about ten minutes, no more. Don’t waste it!
As a cream, you can use a sweet curd mass mixed with sour cream. But we will proceed from the fact that you have a ready-made pastry cream.
From the cooled sponge cakes, we will make a cream-soaked roll, which we will cut into separate thin pieces.
The last step will be the assembly of the Charlotte Royal cake. Moisten a deep round cup with water and cover the inside with cling film. Lay out the pieces of the roll over the entire inner area of the cup. Fill the recess with chocolate ice cream. We will also lay out the top with a biscuit. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for a few hours.
Before serving, turn the cup over onto a flat, beautiful plate. We lift the bowl under which the cake is located. Then we will remove the food film, if it remains on the cake. The delicious cake is ready! We serve it to the festive table.
