Parsley — 1 tbsp chopped | |
Dill — 1-1.5 tbsp. l. (if fresh, then 1-2 tsp.) | |
The onion is half small. bulbs | |

This classic creamy sauce goes well with deep-fried fish and any other seafood.
How to make Homemade tartar sauce
The creamy texture of the sauce is provided by mayonnaise. To make a lighter version of the sauce, you can try replacing mayonnaise with plain yogurt or light mayonnaise.
Greens such as fresh or dried. dill or its replacement — parsley, is a mandatory ingredient (but I add both dill and parsley).
While capers are optional. It’s okay if you don’t have them at hand.
Step-by-step recipe

Remove the skin from the onion, cut off only the end of the stem — so it will be more convenient to grate on the fine side of the grater. Another option is to simply chop it coarsely and grind it in a blender. |

Chop the dill and parsley. |

Toss the greens, capers and onions into a blender bowl and chop. |

Season with salt and pepper to taste. |

Now it is best to cover with a film or lid and put in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes. It is also best to keep it closed for no more than 1 week. |
