This is how my Armenian grandmother always cooked. Just in time for the meal, I baked round yeast-free tortillas. And it was so easy and simple for her to do everything! I watched and tried to catch and absorb everything. Showing
How to make Lean homemade bread
I thought, what if I bake fresh bread for lunch? Of course, the shops are bursting with baking now, but sometimes it happens that I didn’t have time to go to the store, or I didn’t find what I like. Or you don’t use yeast pastries. Therefore, if something went wrong, you know, you can cook the right one to taste and at home.
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Pour water into a bowl, add salt and sift flour.
We will form a soft dough, knead it very carefully, but we will try not to overdo it with flour so that the dough does not become stone.
Divide the dough ball into six parts and roll it into balls.
We roll out each part of the dough into thin cakes.
Bake the tortillas in a dry frying pan.
Bake on both sides until lightly browned.
We put the finished pastries on a plate.
When all the tortillas are ready, sprinkle with water and wrap in a towel so that the tortillas do not dry out. We keep them wrapped in a towel. Bon Appetit!
