Macaroni and cheese in a frying pan is a delicious and satisfying dish that can be offered for breakfast, for a lunch meal, and for dinner.
How to cook Macaroni and cheese in a frying pan
For the recipe, you can use your favorite pasta – spaghetti, horns, spirals, feathers and others. The cheese should be firm. Cooking pasta in a frying pan with cheese is easy, but they turn out very tasty.
Pour water into a saucepan at the rate of 100 g of pasta – 1 liter of water. When the water boils, salt it to taste. Transfer the pasta to boiling water, mix immediately, bring to a boil. Cook the pasta for 1 minute less than indicated in the manufacturer’s recommendations on the package. Periodically mix the pasta.
In parallel, grind the cheese on a grater with medium or small cells.
We throw the pasta into a colander. We leave about half a cup of broth from pasta. Pour olive oil into the pan, pepper. Warm up a little. Carefully pour in the broth from the pasta, bring to a boil. We transfer the pasta to the pan. Mix it up.
Add cheese to the pasta (we leave a little cheese for serving).
Stir and simmer over medium heat for 2 minutes. In the process, mix the macaroni and cheese.
