How to cook an Open pie with grated apple
This simple pastry is made of shortbread, and the filling is the juiciest and most fragrant. This pie turns out to be hearty and fragrant for the whole house. It will perfectly complement your tea table.
In a bowl, sift the flour, add 120 grams of sugar and mix the soda. We take a grater and rub the butter on a grater and beat 2 eggs. Knead a soft, non-sticky dough. If necessary, it is allowed to add 3-5 tablespoons of flour additionally. If the butter in the dough began to melt, put the dough in the freezer for 10-15 minutes! You can, of course, add flour, but the dough will turn out to be oak.
Next, we divide the finished dough into two parts. One part is bigger and one is smaller. Cover with cling film and put both parts in the freezer for 30 minutes.
We begin to prepare the filling. Wash, dry and peel the apples. Remove the core, rub on a medium or fine grater. Add 30 grams of sugar and cinnamon to the grated apple, mix all the ingredients well. You can add honey if you want sweeter pastries.
Grease the baking dish with butter and grate the frozen dough there. Evenly distribute the dough, forming a base with sides. Spread the filling on top. The second part of the dough is rolled out thinly and with the help of a cookie cutter we cut out small flowers, carefully lay them on top of the filling.
We send the apple pie to the preheated oven to 180 degrees for 40 minutes. When baking, focus on the power of your oven.
