Traditionally, it is made without cottage cheese on cream alone, but with the addition of cottage cheese, the dish turns out to have an interesting structure. It is important not to take granular cottage cheese, it is better to use the mass.
How to cook Panna cotta — cottage cheese dessert with apricots
Panna cotta is an exquisite Italian dessert that we will prepare from cottage cheese and apricots. But any berries and jams are suitable for this delicate souffle.
We remove the seeds from the washed apricots, divide the berries into halves or cut into cubes — as you like best. We put the berries in a mold, or a deep frying pan, sprinkle with sugar (a couple of spoons). We send it to the oven for 10-15 minutes at 180 degrees.
Pour 300 ml of cream into a cup and cover with gelatin. To dissolve, use a water bath.
Add cottage cheese, remaining sugar and vanilla to the cream. Whisk everything with a blender. Add half of the apricots and stir.
We put the remaining caramelized berries on the bottom of the mold, and spread the cottage cheese panna cotta on top. The dish needs to freeze — at least 3 hours, it is better to leave it overnight.
When serving, you can additionally decorate with powdered sugar, and put fresh berries on a plate. Cherries will do well — it is a win-win combination with apricots.
