If you decide to use whole pea grains for making soup, then they must be soaked beforehand to give time to soften. Crushed peas do not require such a procedure in principle and will boil themselves perfectly. |

We put the necessary portion of peas in a cooking pot, fill it with water, add salt and put it to boil. Over low heat, it will cook for about an hour. |

While the peas are cooking, you can slowly prepare the rest of the ingredients for our soup. Peel and chop onions, carrots, tomatoes, and also chop celery. Ham, mushrooms and potatoes also need to be cut into small pieces. |

Fry the vegetables in oil in a frying pan. Fry lightly, stirring constantly for ten minutes. |
