How to cook Pineapple rings in puff pastry
From a jar of pineapples and puff pastry, you can prepare a stunning dessert in a matter of minutes. The dish has solid advantages: available ingredients, minimum body movements, maximum simplicity and amazing taste.
Step-by-step recipe
1. |
We drain the pineapple syrup, and put the rings themselves on paper — the dough will fall off from excess moisture. We take the dough sheets out of the package and put them on the table for defrosting (in plastic it will melt longer). |
2. |
We pour powdered sugar on top of the rings. If desired, you can add cinnamon or vanilla for flavor. |
3. |
Roll out a sheet of dough — you should get a pancake 3 mm thick. Then cut the leaf into thin strips (1-1.5 cm thick). The easiest way to do this is with a pizza knife. |
4. |
We wrap the pineapple rings with the resulting dough ribbons. You can wind the strips end-to-end, or with small intervals — as the hand takes it. |
5. |
Having wrapped all the pineapples, we put them on a baking sheet covered with parchment. In the oven, set the temperature to 180 degrees. We will smear the rings with beaten egg and send them to bake. |
6. |
The cooking time is half an hour, but it’s better to watch and pull out the dessert when the dough turns brown. |
