Cutlets with a delicate filling of nutritious potatoes and green peas for garnish.
How to cook Potato patties with green peas
Such cutlets are a great option for an evening snack. It’s easy to cook them: the base is a potato-pea mixture and spices, other vegetables can be added according to your diet and preferences.
I want to add that the recipe uses red chili pepper pods. Add only if you like spicy.

Step-by-step recipe

Thoroughly rinse and peel the potatoes. Send it to cook until ready, it will take ~ 30 — 40 minutes (check readiness with a fork). Turn off as soon as the vegetable has become soft. |

Drain the water (otherwise the puree will be watery, and you will not be able to form cutlets from it). Mash to a puree state. |

If you use frozen peas, then defrost it and be sure to let the water drain. Then simmer in a small amount of oil for 2 minutes over medium heat. Then ~ 10 minutes on low heat until soft under the lid together with chopped red pepper and, if desired, onion. Add salt and stir. |

Peas can be crushed in a blender, but I prefer whole in cutlets. |

Add peas, salt and pepper to taste and curry to the mashed potatoes. Then mix well. |

Moisten your hands in water and form smooth balls or ovals of the desired size. Press them down slightly. I got 12 cutlets. |

Roll in flour. |

Lay out the cutlets and press lightly. So they will become flat and fry evenly. Cook in a small amount of oil until golden brown on both sides, ~ 3-4 minutes each side. The dish is ready. If desired, serve with lettuce leaves. |
