How to cook Potato patties
There are a lot of potato dishes. Potatoes have long been included in our diet, and the majority of Russians love it very much. And not for nothing! Potatoes contain polyphenols, an antioxidant useful for the heart, blood vessels and preventing aging. Tubers contain various vitamins and minerals, such as calcium, phosphorus, iron, sodium and magnesium. The only disadvantage is the high starch content, but after cooking it becomes much less. As a rule, housewives do not bother much with cooking potatoes:boiled, fried and mashed. I propose to cook potato patties on your table for a variety of menus.
Wash the potatoes from the stuck earth and peel. Cut large tubers in half. Put the peeled potatoes in a saucepan with cold water and put them on the stove. After boiling, add salt and reduce the temperature. Cook until tender.
Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Fry in a frying pan with vegetable oil.
Drain the water from the finished potatoes. Now you need to stretch it. It is better to do it with a push. If you mash the potato particles with a blender, they will be very small and the puree will turn out to be too liquid. Then you will have to add semolina.
One egg is broken into a bowl and stirred. Add fried onions, butter and egg liquid to the puree. Mix and taste for salt. We form cutlets. They should be oval in shape, with a pointed end and slightly flattened.
Preheat the frying pan with oil. We pour the breadcrumbs into a flat plate. We roll each cutlet in breadcrumbs and put it in a frying pan.
