Rabbit meat is very tender and dietary. It is useful for everyone, including pregnant women and sick people. Rabbit can be cooked in different ways, but the most beneficial for the body will be stewed meat.
If you have a whole rabbit, then we divide the carcass into several parts. We will use fleshy thighs for cooking, and we will put the rest back in the refrigerator for other dishes.
In a deep frying pan or a saucepan with a thick bottom, put the rabbit parts, pour a little oil and fry (10 min.).
Cut the onion into thin strips, and garlic into small pieces. Add it to the pan. Fry until golden brown.
Pour the meat with cream, put the bay leaf, salt, pepper and simmer for about an hour, closing the lid. If necessary, add water or cream. You can use sour cream instead of cream.
We put the rabbit meat on plates, pour cream sauce and serve it to the dinner table. Stewed rabbit will go well with a salad or side dish.
