|Flour — 350 gr + —|
|Margarine for baking or butter — 80 gr|
|Strawberry jam — 200 gr or as needed|
All ingredients should be at room temperature.
How to make a Strawberry Jam Pie
The jam pie is very soft, tender and juicy. The recipe for a berry pie is simple and always turns out delicious.
Separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the whites separately with a mixer, about 1 minute. Beat the yolks in another bowl, add sugar and beat again. Then combine the whites with the yolks.
Add salt, baking powder, melted margarine and warm milk. Mix gently. Slowly pour the flour sifted through a sieve. Knead a soft dough. Put the dough in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Get the dough out of the refrigerator, roll out into a thin layer, about 1 cm thick.
Spread the jam on the dough and distribute evenly. We wrap it in a roll.
We put it in a form greased with butter.
The pie is smeared with whipped yolk on top. We send it to the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes. Bake at a temperature of 180 degrees.
Pour strawberry icing or jam over the pie. Decorate with frozen berries.
