We cook paprikash from turkey, with the addition of vegetables and sweet paprika, it will give the dish an incredible flavor and color. This paprikash differs from stewed chicken or turkey.
How to cook Turkey Paprikash with vegetables
Paprikash is made from white meat. You can use chicken, turkey or veal meat. Do not use fatty meat, because paprikash is considered a dietary dish. Pieces of white meat stewed in cream or sour cream sauce, with lots of ground aromatic paprika and vegetables. The dish turns out to be incredibly tasty, satisfying and healthy. Sour cream should be fresh, without sourness. You can replace it with cream.
Wash the turkey fillet, dry it and cut into cubes 2 by 2 centimeters. Cut onions into half rings, and carrots into cubes.
Fry the onion in vegetable oil in a deep frying pan, then add the turkey pieces. Fry until golden brown, do not forget to stir.
Then add the carrots, pour a glass of hot water (preferably broth). Simmer for five minutes.
Peel the Bulgarian pepper from the seeds and cut into a square. We throw pepper into the pan and sprinkle generously with red ground sweet paprika. Simmer for another five minutes.
There should be a lot of liquid in the pan, it should almost cover all the components. If this is not the case, then add another half a cup of water at room temperature to the sour cream. Move sour cream, water and a teaspoon (with a slide) of flour. There should be no lumps. Gently pour the sauce into our paprika, stirring. Salt to taste. Cook on low heat for another ten minutes. The dish is ready.
Paprikash can be served with a side dish, or as a separate dish in the form of a thick soup. It remains only to sprinkle with herbs. Enjoy your meal!
